My Happy Place
No one can deny how much of a happy bubble I always become around water.
However I know that always made my parents nervous especially my mum who is yet to master the art of swimming.
For me its just my happy place.
So my parents got to start me doing swimming lessons at Kindergarten, with Captain Awesome. I couldn’t wait for those Tuesdays to come.

Captain Awesome
3 to 5 years
It didnt take long for everyone to notice being in water was my happy place. Since the days in Kindergarten, the day Captain Awesome cames to school was always my happy day. Thanks to Captain Awesome, she gave me the first opportunity to fall in love with water.
Fulton Swim School
5 to Now years
It took my parents longer to take me to Fulton Swim School compared to my brother who joined the school when he could barely talk.
I had already started with Captain Awesome. My turn at Fulton came when I started school at Otaua. I couldnt wait to swim in a proper, long swimming pool.
I want a pool daddy
4 to 5 years
I am not sure if my dad took me seriously about this request. When we moved to rural from the city, the first thing I saw was ample space big enough to place an olympic size swimming pool.
In not time my brother had already a football field setup for him, with a proper goal post with nets.
I didn’t see any reason why I couldn’t also get a swimming pool to enhance my passion.
What makes me different
I scream & shout a lot
It difficult to separate the two about me. As both can happen either when I am angry, excited or happy.I know it drives my mum nuts, but I just cant contain it.My brother takes the brut of most of my screems. He is so annoying.
I am super smart & intelligent
My dad thinks I got his brains, but for some reason I just dont like Maths the way he does. I still get to do my Home Maths more than my brother, who gets to yawn a lot when the Maths is getting difficult or is getting a brain freeze. I just always figure out a way how to get things r done on my own. And when Dad shows me how to do it, its normally easy pizzy. I guess I am just super smart. It runs in the family.
I can play soccer too
Everyone thinks, its my brother's thing. But I think I have got it too. I just dont want to show off about it all. I know I always giver my brother a hard time when he tries to practise his silly moves on me. Dad thinks I have good ball control. The first thing he taught me which I do with utmost ease, is to Step on the Ball.
I still suck my thump
I trully cannot help it. All I can remember is that from the onset at birth, i just latched on it. I am told mum was advised not to take any food 12 hours before I was born. So I was probably hungry when I came into the light. Why should I be blamed for it then.
